goodness gracious, great balls of ICE!

We've just had a massive storm here in Melbourne, with hail and everything.

The sky went black, and then you could hear the hail coming .... like a cyclone. No damage to property here thank goodness. We're pleased to get the rain though. Hope your Saturday is a bit less eventful as far as mother nature is concerned!

Crikey - they're massive! We were inside a big shopping centre when the front came, so all I saw was a momentary dimming of the lights. It must have been spectacular outside!

(Not so spectacular: finding we'd left a window open and that all my washing was on the line!!)

Wowzers, they are huge!! We had hail but not that big. Luckily most of our crops are root vegetables at the moment that hail wont bother too much. I hope your car was under cover. X

we were down at the local market, it was great to see, not great driving later though when an electricity pole was half down.

I guess I should stop complaining about the Brisbane rain now.

Wow, that's decent sized hail. I'm glad nothing was damaged. We have had rain, rain ,rain lately. It's needed (ok maybe a little less than what we are getting was needed. But its nice top return to the weather patterns I remember from childhood. It seems such a long time since we have had a sustained patch of rain.

Got a real dousing here in the Dandenongs too, our power just came back on about an hour ago! Got the golf balls in the freezer awaiting childrens inspection in the morning. Managed to get the car under car just as it started! You could have been knocked out if one hit you in the head!
Amazing!!
