today we wandered ...
Sunday is a day for wandering, so wander we did ... around the streets of old Madrid (south of the Plaza Mayor) and around the streets near where we live (near Retiro Park) ...

this is my favorite part when in a new/foreign or even one i re-discover... to stroll along the streets downtown looking at architecture ! doors included ! my daughter often laughs at me that i have my head up looking up but you can find some nice architectural surprises even on the roofs i tell her (that one was from our history of arts teacher !!)
anyway, good that you're in a sunny & colorful place !
and please send me some sunshine -- it disappeared last weekend to a nasty mist :(
I so Miss Madrid. These photos make me want to come right back, right now!
