little yardage patterns

Last night after dinner, Little Mister Yardage and I were sitting at the table drawing. He likes to try and draw what I draw, and insists on a black pen and blank paper "just like Mum". He was drawing all sorts of things, but started with flowers and a spider (major spider and Spiderman love in our house!). I scanned them after he went to bed and started playing with patterns ...

A Little Yardage original! I'm very tempted to print this one. It's nice to be inspired by your family. This was the original drawing ...

Cheers!

That's fantastic. How proud would he be if you printed and used it to decorate his room!

Yes I too think you should print it. Maybe a cushion or a playmat.

I think you've translated the design really well. I like the angular simplicity of it..it works for me.

you should definitely print it, Nic...I keep looking at my kids drawings thinking they'd make great screen prints!

It really is a pretty fantastic pattern. It's specific enough to be recognizable if desired, but stylized enough to just be ... pattern-y. :)
