community service announcement: the poppies

"The Poppies" (think The Grammies for people who make stuff) were announced by Poppytalk today - a virtual awards ceremony celebrating the Handmade Community. You can find details of how to nominate here - closing date for nominations is next Tuesday (12th January).

I have no affilliation with these awards, but I think it sounds like it could be a fun way to recognise the very creative people we know in blogland, as well as a great way to discover people we didn't know about. Everyone wins!
