embroidery

I'm teaching myself how to embroider. Nothing fancy, just some stitches around one of my petals motifs for a little project I'm hatching. I'm using this book to give me ideas and show me how to do some of the stitches, but mostly I'm just winging it. I'm really enjoying it ~ I've discovered that embroidery is very relaxing as long as you embrace the wonk!

Have a great weekend!

I love your petals design, but I think that I might like it even more with the embroidery!

Beautiful! I had to learn a couple of embroidery stitches the other day for a small project I was doing, and found that I really enjoyed it. I thought it was quite relaxing, and could be something I would like to do more of, if only there was more time!
Thanks for visiting my blog the other day :)
