colours + lovely regulars + a giveaway

I've been experimenting with colour lately, and thought it might be fun to print some of my tea towel designs in limited edition colours for the Finders Keepers Market.

You may have noticed that there are now 200 lovely people who regularly read this blog (aka Google Followers, but I hate the idea of "followers"). I think such a milestone is worthy of a giveaway. Up for grabs is a tea towel of your choice from those listed in the shop.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment with you suggestion for a new colour for one (or more, if you like) of my tea towel designs (you can see them here). Will it be something to match your kitchen decor, your favourite colour or  a colour you've just always wanted to see on a tea towel ...?

Lovely regulars get an extra entry, as do people who "like" me on Facebook - just let me know in your comment. Open to Australian and international readers.

A fast giveaway is a good giveaway, so I'll randomly draw a winner on Friday at midday (AEST).

Duck egg! That vintagey blue green colour for a tram roll teatowel. I collect old bowls in that colour for the kitchen and a matching tea towel would be great. :)

I am a follower and I 'like' you on facebook.

I'm partial to a sort of nature-ish green, like spring leaves or grass. I also love warm yellows. I don't "follow" via Google, but you're in my Google Reader. :)

Some lovely purple tones would be great. I think that would still match well with the colour palette you already use. Congrats on the 200 "followers" (I'm one of those!). It's nice to think that many people want to regularly keep up to date with what you are doing, isn't it?

A nice mustard yellow would be great, or salmon.

I think a lovely duck egg (tiffany?) blue would be great - mainly because I'm about to move into a new house which has a duck egg blue coloured kitchen. Congrats on 200 followers!

oh, do I have to choose just one?
OK, magenta, just because I like it!

First thought was chocolate (slightly obsessed at present), but I love the ideas above, especially some kind of green - grass really appeals today - or a burnt orange. I love burnt orange!

Congratulations on reaching the 200 follower mark, and also having your tea towels featured in Good Food mag! That's brilliant :-)

I would selfishly say lime-ish green because that is the colour of our 70's kitchen... but I'm not sure many others would share that colour scheme! I do enjoy being one of your "regulars"...

Would love a dark pink although I love the idea of duck egg blue as well!

Ha Ha I'm sure you already know my colour choice - should I make you guess?

Has to be mustard :) Not enough mustard in kitchen towels these days! I don't follow as such although you are in my Google reader.

Chocolate brown or blue and two of my favourite colours. I have to (sheepishly) admit that I have two of your tea towels, but (gasp!) cut them up to cover light shades in my kitchen. I had my heart in my mouth when I did it, but they look fabulous!

Oooooh duck egg blue would be luffly!

I was thinking a hot pink on black (if that's even possible!) Something a little funky!

I am a FB liker as well as a blogger follower :D

So hard to pick just one colour. I like previous suggestions of duck-egg blue. I was thinking about a hot pink on black too, bu I see someone else already suggested that. You already "do" red.... Hmmmm..... aqua? or turquoise? I'm a liker of yours on Facebook.

I'm feeling so much love for sunny yellow at the moment... but I'm not so sure that you'd get a good print?!?!

I think a royal blue would go with a lot of kitcheny decors. Congrats on attracting all those readers, I love to follow along and read all about your work.
