save your pennies ...

Another classic find from the Shabby Vintage Junk Extravaganza on Friday ... a 1950's Willow budget tin, which still had one of its coin catchers inside ...




I love that this tin is really worn - it has been used. I wonder where and by whom? The form and function is very retro - love it! More finds overe here.

As a sidenote though - imagine trying to fit enough coins in there to cover the bills now!!

What an absolute rippa and how bloody clever. I want one baaaad. How good would that be to use - although I'm tipping $2 coins may not be enough for the ol' electricity bill or any bill for that matter. But, great place to start. I've never seen one before so I'll be keeping my eyes wide open in future to spot one of these delights. Lucky you.
