However, while testing some designs on paper, I played around with a new MARTHA purchase - do you know what it is ...
... if you guessed circular cutter, you'd be right! (from Spotlight incase you're interested)
It cuts beautiful circles, so I've been making some little gift tags out of the draft prints I've been doing (on thin card) - it's very theraputic!
In other creativity ... my friend Pam from Pippi Creates, made this cute hat for Little Mister - he calls it his "special car hat" (because it's lined with car fabric - it's reversible too) and hasn't taken it off since he got it - thanks Pam! Pam sews beautiful kids clothing and accessories - check out her blog here.
I hope your week has been creative too. To check out other creative spaces, or to add your own to the pile, visit Kootoyoo.

your circle cutter looks addictive, I bet it's very satisfying producing those perfect circles!
I've been looking for one of those circular cutter thingys!
I've been looking for a circular cutter too. Do you think it would cut through vinyl?
a special circle maker..creativity abounds now!!
hmmm, I should have gone with Martha! I bought a fiskars cutter and unless the blades go blunt awfully quickly it cut about 10 nice perfect circles then starting tearing at my paper!!grr I do love a good recommendation - thanks :-)
I have never seen anything like that circle cutter before! And I must admit I harbor a love of all things Martha. :) Love the hat too. How patient are some people? Being able to make hats! Very clever.
Ooh I like your Martha cutter!
i saw the circle cutter when I was in spotlight over the weekend ... it looks nicer and easier than the fiskars one
That's a seriously cool looking gadget.
I WANT that thingo!
Watchout Spotlight. I'll be finding you in Victoria when I get there.
Have a happy day!
xx
That little cutter looks very useful - I'd love one of those!

Love the idea of fun, circular gift tags. Go Martha!
Oh I love the cutter!! Do you think it would do fabric too? Great space this week xox
Oh I so need me one of those, I could go circle mad. loving those little gift cards, so sweet.
Clever idea to use scraps and tests to make something lovely. You certainly seem to be on a creative high at the moment Nic.
Love getting new crafting toys! And your tags are tres chic...
love a good gadget. and that little man modelling his hat is tres cute
I want one of those cutters. How cool! But, I can see lots of procrastination happening if I had one.
Oh great circle cutter! I'd love one of those! What pretty paper you have there too!

What great gift tags, circles on circles lovely.
That hat looks pretty special too, Little Mister has great taste!
I love the circles design - so classy! They make great tags too :) Cutting out circles does sound very therapeutic!
the circle cutter looks like fun ~ am wondering what you are going to make with your circles :)
Oh man I am such a sucker for the whole MS section at Spotlight! I once walked out with four canisters of glitter - and I HATE glitter! I love your circles. Maybe they're like mandalas in terms of creativity?
Lovely things as always over here, pretty pretty. It's always such a surprise to find Martha & Heather in Spotlight, most stores are poorly laid out, unclean & untidy, then a piece of duck egg blue paradise, beautiful blooms or fantastic accessories appears!!
I've been trying to leave a comment for 12 hours (internet connectivity issues) so well worth the wait - just didn't want to bring up blogs!! Love Posie
I've been thinking about buying a circular cutter for a wee while and well, you've sold it to me! It looks pretty cool and love the patterned circles you've made, so pretty.
I am still trying to get my head around Martha and Spotlight. Imagine the look of Quelle Horreur! if the Master of the Crafty Homemaker ever actually ventured into a store...
I am laughing at Tanias comment above - I thought the same... its just not matchy matchy enought for Martha- I wonder if she knows... anyway... I ( no surprise really) did not know of such a fantastical tool - i cannot cut circles very nicely- does it actually slice them? More info please...
Wow - can you show us how the circle cutter works? Very interesting indeed.
Love the hat. Very cute indeedy. That Pam is just too clever.
Another thing to add to my wish list. The circle cutter connects to you blog header design-so you I think!
Another cool looking gadget to add to the wishlist. The imagination runs wild... Glad the little Mister loved the hat - always happy to put in the love when it is well received.
What a beautiful looking and useful tool! Love the hat too :)
WOW. That circle thing looks amazing. I have NO idea how it works, but I want me one!! :-) If it's ever here at the studio with you, would you mind shouting out? I'd love to come and play for a bit to see whether I should get one :-) Your gift tags are gorgeous and making me jealous!! xxx
