machine letters :: part 2

After a bit of trial and error, this is the latest version of machine letters with my logo uploaded into the Janome ...

Now that I see it with finer font, I think the fabric is too busy. Maybe a natural linen might be better? This was one of the trials (the thread got caught on a couple of the letters) ...

All fun and games - and all will be put to good use, regardless! Have a great weekend!

That last one looks GREAT! I didn't want to offend (still don't, truely!), but the first version reminds me of when you put the wrong paper in the printer & accidentally print on top of something else....?! ;)

Oh wow! how cool is that! and oh yes, plain linen for me too! super cool! I'm currently shopping around to get my first ever sewing machine and after seeing this now I have to have embroider function as a must have! ;) thanks for sharing!

I love the idea of putting the lettering on your own fabric design, but it *is* a little hard to read, so I'd vote for the plain one. Would there be a way to do a custom print of the fabric that has a plain space in the middle for your lettering and then the design all around it?

I like everyone else am going for the plain linen, although after reading the comment above by "June at noon" I like that one too.

I hope you have a lovely weekend experimenting with different fabrics and your embroidery!
