machine letters

Today I'm playing around with the embroidery function on my sewing machine (Janome Memory Craft 9700). I want to create some small "yardage design" signs on my circa fabric. This is the first go at it, using one of the default fonts on the machine ...

I think it's a bit heavy looking, so I'm going to use the Janome software to upload "yardage design" in the font I use for my logo and see how it goes. I like the teal cotton, though (no surprises there!). More creative spaces via Kootoyoo.

oh, you just reminded me! My sewing machine has an embroidery unit too....but I have no clue how to use it:( It actually scares me a bit as it looks so complicated!

Love the idea and cannot wait to see the final result!

pea green jealous that you have a machine that's capable of such amazingness. I might need to discuss this with you further. I think my ancient clapped out Janome might be ready to be retired.

wow - I would love your machine! I don't mind the heavy font, guess it depends what it is for?

Lucky thing! I have the most basic, old fashioned sewing machine (which I DO love) but every now and then I'd love to have some fancy functions to play around with.

It sounds like that machine of yours should also be able to tackle the laundry. Lucky chook!

Wow... Now that's something worth learning to drive!! Do you need a special licence for it?? Lol. I think a softer font would be ideal.. Like your logo of course... Can't wait to see...
