just like dad!

Today I made Little Mister a tie out of some of my navy Circa fabric ...

I used Simplicity pattern 4762 (boys tie), less than a fat quarter of fabric, a little strip of interfacing and about 45 minutes of time - I'm really happy with the result. Talk about fancy dress-ups!

I'm working my way up to a full-sized version for Mr Yardage ... stay tuned!

It looks great! I've only recently traced off an Ottobre pattern for a kid's tie. I might have to get cracking on that.

looks fabulous! love it!... you need to make a range of ladies ties with the agapanthus fabric, they'd look great!

Oh that is cool, my son LOVES wearing ties. My husband wore a suit to work for the last 2 years & i loved watching him tie a double windsor, so sexy!! He's back in camouflage again, oh well, men in uniform . . . kind of liked the Hugo Boss phase though . . . ahhhhhh . . . love Posie

Your print looks fabulous on the tie. You should make these for the grown up boys - something handmade to buy for them on Etsy ;) And boy does he look the bees knees... but loved the story about how it became a snake... te he!
