SALE starts today!

The Yardage Design SALE starts today at 4pm EST (5pm if you live in NSW or Victoria).

Although normally on an annual basis, it's been more than eighteen months since our last misprints, samples and discontinued sale, which means there are some pretty stacks of fabric and homewares bargains up for grabs! While misprints may have a few minor imperfections (for example, slightly smudged ink or imperfect placement), the products are the same high quality as always, and properly heatset. Samples may included unreleased colours of existing designs or discontinued designs or styles.

Free shipping for all Australian orders over $75 (just enter FREEPOST at the checkout) and flat rate postage for international orders too. More details about postage/shipping here.

it's a new year and i'm getting sorted already!

Happy new year! To be honest, 2013 was a pretty good year, both professionally and personally, which actually makes 2014 feel even more exciting. While it's still holiday time for the next month, I'm quietly working in the wee hours (when I feel like it!) to get things in order for this coming year. First cab off the rank was a better website platform - it went live last night - let me know what you think (click here for a look)!

Second up, is prep for my annual (but 6 months late!) misprints and samples sale. It's going to be HUGE! Make sure you sign up for the Yardage Design newsletter (on the right of this post in the sidebar) and keep your eyes peeled at the end of the month for all of the details.

There are also new designs in the works and planning for at least a couple of markets - in Brisbane, but perhaps an interstate one or two.

Also, there is just a week of online shopping to go if you want to ensure you get your goodies before Christmas. 17 December is the last day for regular post orders. After that we should be able to work something out for express post if needed.

jacaranda ...

The Jacaranda tree in our back yard is losing the last last of its blossoms. These trees have captivated me this year, especially in full bloom :: their colour is just stunning.

There are a few jacaranda inspired Freckle tea towels in the Yardage Design online shop, along with the last of the pastel retro canisters tea towels I printed last week.
