During the week, my copies of the Homemade: Handmade Help Recipe Book arrived in the post. What a treasure trove of great recipes. This morning I made the Beetroot Dip (page 21) ready for drinkies with friends this afternoon - it is so delicious and the colour is FABULOUS!! I'd never cooked beetroot before, but I bought some at the farmers markets yesterday and then just roasted it in foil for about an hour. This recipe book is a real gem and would make a lovely gift (maybe get in early for Christmas?). they are just $15 and all profits go to the Salvo's who are helping survivors of the Victorian Bushfires.
