It was a lovely morning down at Camberwell Market this morning, and I managed to find two lovely treasures to bring home ...
The first find was this gorgeous Japanese 1970's metal kitchen play set. It even has a jelly mould! This set reminds me of toys we had as kids ~ nostalgia got the better of me, and I had to have it!
The second find was a lovely little English watercolour in a sweet frame ~ it's original and signed by the artist. I couldn't walk past it for just $10.
Many more lovely things found at markets over at Sophie's blog each Sunday.

Theseare really amazing finds Nic. Yes, those metal sets remind me of my childhood too. In such perfect order too. I love that little watercolour of the English countryside. I also can't walk past a good original.
Pretty picture, I love finding old unloved artworks.
GORGEOUS Nic I didn't see you this morning....I had a stall down near the bakery....!!

Such sweet finds, I just love your watercolour and at a amazing price. I found some great art today also, which I'll post about soon.
I hope to get to Collingwood also, haven't seen Tamarah in ages.
Both finds are awesome. Those fish are quite amusing! The water colour is a darling indeed. Great shopping. :)
I too can not walk past an original watercolour. Your one is amazing.
And love the kitchen set. x
The kitchen set is a bit of fun isn't it.
Sometimes I just want to buy old toys for me.
Oh, I had one of those little tin kitchen sets when I was little. What a wonderful find Nic. And it's orange too! Envious, but in the nicest possible way.
What great finds, the watercolor is really lovely
Great finds!
Cute! You are quite the bargain hunter! I had a kitchen set like that as a kid, but with a crab design...and that painting could almost where I am sitting right now in the UK (but all the rain and cold is rather spoiling it for me).
