It was worth the chilly walk down to Camberwell market this morning. I found these two, silk covered notebooks at the bottom of a box ...
Each contains a concertina of pages filled with the most lovely watercolour paintings, chinese/japanese? writing and artists stamps ... treasure!
More amazing market finds being collected over at Sophie's blog.
Happy treasure hunting!

My they are beautiful!
I have some modern notebooks with pictures on the covers that look very similar to those. They were given to me by a friend who lives in China so perhaps yours are Chinese as well!
Those notebooks are lovely! They will look so pretty displayed on a shelf.

Oh wow how special, so pretty.
Great finds! Those Camberwell Markets sound like a treasure trove. The prints would look amazing framed and grouped together on a wall.
Wow what a lovely surprise!
Swoon!
What a great find! It's Chinese rather than Japanese.
What a beautiful find!
What a lovely find, just beautiful!
