The cold and the rain this morning at Camberwell Market was totally worth it, because I found these pristine beauties ...
These lovely red canisters will be right at home with my other little canisters also found at Camberwell Market (and the subjects of one of my tea towel designs) ...
I love the colours, shape and text of these retro canisters ... I think I'm now a "collector".
Hope you've found some good stuff lately! See what other treasures have been found this week over here.

They were meant to be yours Nic..just like your red canister tea towel! I love their pristine condition too..really gives a picture of what they were like new and why they were such a big hit back then.

I was at Camberwell Market this morning. Not for long though - it was a bit wet. Shame we missed each other.

Awesome! I just saw Camberwell markets on the tv yesterday - I didn't realise they were a big second hand market, derr. nice find
I never see those when I'm out! Now I'm curious -- wondering what the letters stand for?!
I love these Nic!!! They are simply gorgeous!!!

I love gayware canisters...I've got a large S in black, a medium R in red and half a dozen little spice canisters too. I love that green apple coloured one in the middle.
