by the roadside ...



These beauties were found by the side of the road at a petrol station near Avila (on the way to Madrid). Weeds to most, but beautiful in their own right. I'm loving my camera at the moment!

The yellow flowers look like Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) It comes in many colours and is often grown in cottage gardens. I love it! It self seeds well and may have sprouted from garden cuttings thrown on the roadside or seeds blown there on the wind. Love your photographs, beauty is all around us if we just look and see.
