my creative space ...

... is sparse (at the moment), but all mine!

I picked up the keys yesterday, and now I can begin making this space more like "me". At the moment it only has a desk and chair (more ebay bargains), but my big printing table (from Ikea - love that place) arrives tomorrow. I'm thinking about an apple green colour for the window wall and maybe fire engine red or cobalt blue for the pipe - I need some colour!

I met some of my lovely neighbours yesterday too - including Sandra from Pepperberry and Co. It's great to be surrounded by people who "get it"!

Aside from that, it's all about businessy stuff here - like getting screens  made and ordering base cloth fabric. I hope to be printing sometime next weeek - yahoo!

Yes, yes. I vote for apple green. I saw a bathroom tiled in apple green the other day & cursed myself for being "sensible for resale" & sticking with neutral.

I LOVE your studio. x

clearing off that window has made such a difference to the light in your space. it looks lovely. i would leave it all white and just paint the pipes (and maybe the window sills) apple green. i can't wait to see what you end up doing...

Ahh the possibilities!! I have an apple green kitchen it is so bright, cheerful and fresh. The cobalt or red would look stunning with it. We used more like a Prussian blue to offset our green and it is a great combination (the colour was called Blue Whaler by solver). What an exciting journey to be embarking on, I can’t wait to see what you do with and in your space.
